Tastemakers Festival – San Joaquin Valley’s Premiere Music, Art & Food Festival

The First Annual Tastemakers Festival was a groundbreaking Visalia, CA event. Headlined by Nick Waterhouse and joined by local favorites Strange Vine, Mezcal, Califas, and Taco Wagon. This was the event of the year.

Locally handcrafted food, drink, arts and crafts were also the stars of this Made in the U.S.A. themed event. Tioga Seqouia Brewing, Pita Kabob, Lancaster Creations, Standard Goods, Machine Brothers, blogger Paully Digital and others made up the finest artisans unique to the San Joaquin Valley.

If you missed it this year, make plans for 2015 because it’s only going to get better.

Consider this the trailer because the feature post is coming soon!

About The Author
- Born in the Philippines, raised in New Jersey, and living in Visalia. I'm a fan of people and the culture they create. I arrived here from Los Angeles in 2006 teary eyed from the "smell of money" (a.k.a. cow poop) and what I thought was a lack of "things to do".I met some wonderful friends along the way that helped guide me through our close knit communities to discover a growing art culture, a love for fine food, great music, and community. It's time we share this richness with each other and the rest of the world - this is Joaquin Around.Do you have recommendations, or content to share, contact us here on the site or email me directly at niccolo@joaquinaround.com
