Steamy Hot Sax! A world class saxophonist plays in Sequoia National Park

What happens when a world-class saxophonist plays “Careless Whisper” in Sequoia National Park?

The Tulare County Symphony asked us to hang out with world-class saxophonist Jonathan Hulting-Coen, so we decided to take him to the world-famous Sequoia National Park. ¬†Jonathan indulged us by playing Wham’s classic hit, “Careless Whisper” while in a gigantic, fallen, and hollow Sequoia Tree Log in Grant Grove. What ensued was a beautiful, you had to be there moment, as tree rain fell and steam rose from the forest floor during a once-in-a-lifetime performance of a woodwind inside this hollow tree. It was simply f***n magical!

Go see a symphony!

Go to the Sequoias!

Go see a world class-saxophonist!

Do it all, because it’s all so damn good!
