Road House 99, Kingsburg

Brothers Adrian and Ernie Perez are growing something good in Kingsburg, it’s ┬áThe Roadhouse 99. On the Northbound side of Highway 99 between a Valero Gas Station and a motel stands a food and beer oasis,. Popular among Kingsburgians and local farmers. This is down home good grub with gourmet sensibilities, house brined pastrami, hand cut potatoes for french fries and chips, a “Dirty Dog” that will beat up your chili dog.

You have to be “in-the-know” because there’s no sign from the highway, but take Exit 109 for Ave. 384 in Kingsburg, hang a right at the exit, pass the gas station and park, you’ve reached your oasis for good ol’ American Food and craft beer. No that you know, we highly recommend that you go.

- Born in the Philippines, raised in New Jersey, and living in Visalia. I'm a fan of people and the culture they create. I arrived here from Los Angeles in 2006 teary eyed from the "smell of money" (a.k.a. cow poop) and what I thought was a lack of "things to do".I met some wonderful friends along the way that helped guide me through our close knit communities to discover a growing art culture, a love for fine food, great music, and community. It's time we share this richness with each other and the rest of the world - this is Joaquin Around.Do you have recommendations, or content to share, contact us here on the site or email me directly at
