Visalia Rawhide Baseball & Fireworks

Locals can take ’em out to the ballgame for the Visalia Rawhide’s Independence Day celebration at the baseball team’s North Giddings Street stadium.

Those who head out for the event will catch the Rawhide in a game against the Bakersfield Blaze followed by a fireworks display three-times longer than the baseball team’s regular fireworks put on throughout the year.

Tulare’s 49th Annual Fireworks Spectacular

The Tulare Kiwanis Club’s 49th Annual Fireworks Spectacular will also light up the night sky with a roughly 45 minute fireworks show at the Tulare County Fairgrounds.

Gates open at 6 p.m., and before the display, attendees can engage in family activities including a watermelon eating contest.

Food — churros, snow cones, kettle corn, hotdogs, sodas and nachos — will also be available for purchase.

Admission for the Fireworks Spectacular is $5 per person and free for ages 6 and under. No ice chests or alcohol beverages are allowed.


Visalia’s Freedom Celebration

The celebration begins at the Giant Chevrolet-Cadillac Mineral King Bowl when the gates open at 7 p.m.

Celebration-goers will be admitted for free but a $3-per-person donation is suggested.

Once inside, attendees can listen to music from Visalia band Run 4 Cover, which will perform pop hits of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.

Snow cones, kettle corn, cotton candy and Jamba Juice will be available for purchase. No ice chests or alcohol are allowed.




Really Big America Party @ Peeves Public House

    July 4th is a Friday night this year, and we’re filling the pub with classic American eats from our kitchen and local American sounds from Scats on The SlyThe Roger Perry Band, and The Experience.

Things to note:
-Wear Red White and Blue for $1 off beers all night

Tioga Sequoia’s Independence Party at the #TS Beer Garden

Tioga Sequoia wants you to Drink Local this 4th of July, and come to our Independence Party on Friday, July 4th from 5-10pm.

The main focus of this event is to highlight the growth of the local craft beer scene in downtown Fresno and to provide a front row seat to the largest firework demonstration Downtown has to offer.

Other then fresh local craft beer and fireworks, there will be local food trucks, Dusty Buns and Zamore’ Pizza, serving up their delicious grub, as well as music, corn hole, and a great atmosphere for the whole family.

Oh and we are going to be pouring the all new Tioga Sequoia RootBeer! A special “Kevin Coxation” our brewmaster, Kevin Cox, has been holding on to for years. It will finally be available for all those guests who are not 21+ or would just prefer a nice local non alcoholic beverage.

How about Jay’s Specialty Ice Cream Truck? They will be on site dishin out their homemade Ice Cream Specialties as well as Sugar Pine Flavored Chocolate Ice Cream with cinnamon honey almonds and Rush Hour Breakfast Stout flavored Chocolate Ice Cream with English Toffee pieces. Don’t Forget to get Their Vanilla Ice Cream in a cup to make your own Root Beer or Beer Floats…

Admission is free and all ages are invited. However you must be 21+ to drink beer.

4th of July Ride & Potluck! @ Fresno Tower District

Join us this 4th of July for a Potluck BBQ. We’ll be meeting up behind Tower Velo at 7pm, eat, hang out and then ride to the top of the Spiral Parking Garage for the Firework show. Everyone’s invited so come & hang out.

This is a Potluck BBQ so please bring out something to share with all our cycling family. peDal jUnkies will provide the grill, charcoal and hot dogs.

You ride at your own risk so wear a helmet, light up your bike, and bring plenty of liquids.


Exeter Chamber’s July 4 Celebration

The Exeter Chamber of Commerce is bringing to the public an all-day event Friday, July 4 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Exeter City Park, followed by a free fireworks show at Lions Stadium.

The daytime event is to feature a 2-mile walk and 10K run and a pancake breakfast organized by the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Exeter. The cost for breakfast is $5 per person and proceeds will benefit the City of Hope’s scholarship fund.

A petting zoo will feature goats, sheep, rabbits and more and Reptile Ron will put on an interactive and educational show with his snakes and lizards.

Tri-tip, shaved ice, tacos, caramel apples, funnel cake, corn dogs, quesadillas, cotton candy and more will also be available for purchase from local venues. No ice chests are allowed.


July 4 @ Ramos Torres Winery

Come celebrate our country’s independence with us at Ramos Torres Winery! We have yet another one of our Summer Wine Series events that even our staff will be able to participate and relax while offering our winery for an evening…We also decided that we will not be pairing wine with hot dogs but we encourage that you discover the RTW wine for your gourmet sausage! Gary Kearney will be joining us for the evening and will be playing some of the wineries favorite songs. Did I mention that we will be enjoying Costco Hot Dogs and some other goodies, come and enjoy and bring the kids!

$10 RT Vino Members, $12 General, $8 for children.

Price includes admission to our crush pad behind the winery and food.

“Red, White & BOOM” Fireworks Festival 

Celebrate the Independence Day holiday in Chowchilla Saturday, JULY 5 at the Chowchilla-Madera County Fairgrounds with a lively outdoor evening concert by the Marie Wilson Band, picnic-style foods and beverages including the Chowchilla Lions Club Beer Garden, bounce houses and inflatables, and, of course, FIREWORKS. Gates at the fairgrounds open at 5:00pm and admission to the event is FREE. Plenty of on-site parking will be available.
