How to Be a Winner at Visalia Craft Beer Fest!

You never thought a 2 man or woman wheel barrow race could be so competitive or cause for so much victorious hoorahs, elation, and fist pumping.  It is! If you know how to be a winner.  These two ladies make us want to jump for joy along with them when they beat their competition not once, but twice!

Visalia Craft Beerfest is annual event at Mooney Grove Park in Visalia, hosted by the Craft Beer Coalition, Howie and Son’s, and Brewbaker’s.

Dozens of Breweries from all over California, served up the suds from lagers, ales, sours, to a crowd of over 800.  A beautiful, cool but but sunny April set the stage for Elevation the U2 tribute band and ____ a rockin’ party band from San Luis Obispo.

Beer lovers and good people come together on the lawn of the Tulare County Museum for this yearly event that is always a winner!

About The Author
- Born in the Philippines, raised in New Jersey, and living in Visalia. I'm a fan of people and the culture they create. I arrived here from Los Angeles in 2006 teary eyed from the "smell of money" (a.k.a. cow poop) and what I thought was a lack of "things to do".I met some wonderful friends along the way that helped guide me through our close knit communities to discover a growing art culture, a love for fine food, great music, and community. It's time we share this richness with each other and the rest of the world - this is Joaquin Around.Do you have recommendations, or content to share, contact us here on the site or email me directly at
